In-Home Supports
Anne Carlsen In-home supports provide respite care services for families who have a child with a disability living in their home. These services are for any age as long as they live at home with their family. We provide respite care so the family members can work, run errands, go shopping, attend appointments, etc. all with the assurance that their child is taken care of by a trained professional while they are away. Together, we work on goals and objectives that have been developed by the care team. We also provide self-advocacy and safety training.

Integrated Services
Through collaboration and our continuum of services, we utilize a team approach in order to provide individualized and person-centered services. For individuals receiving In-Home Supports, the following departments and services are vital components of this continuum.
Therapy
Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy conduct assessments, establish programs, and train staff in multiple areas that include eating, communication, daily living skills, sensory integration, and walking/stretching programs.
Early Intervention
Children who are under three-years of age who are evaluated for direct therapy services will be referred to Early Intervention services, which can be accessed through the Department of Human Services. This may provide additional opportunities to support their child’s development, as well as connect them with other services such as respite care or medical assistance. When Anne Carlsen Early Interventionists and direct therapists treat the same child, the family and child will benefit from the ongoing collaboration across all of the child’s natural environments.
Day Habilitation
Anne Carlsen Day Habilitation services occur in community settings creating opportunities for individuals to be inclusive community members. Through community partnerships with local businesses, individuals have the opportunity to give back to the community by doing volunteer work.
