Taylor Made Living

Taylor Made Living is a unique apartment setting in southwest Fargo for adults with developmental disabilities receiving residential habilitation services with Anne Carlsen. Individuals have their own efficiency apartment and benefit from community meeting space, activity space, and other amenities. Direct Support Professionals provide assistance with activities of daily living and promoting independence while promoting a sense of community, both within the neighborhood as well as with the others in the building. Taylor Made Living values family involvement and developing relationships.

Contact your local human service center to become eligible for Developmental Disability Services and be on the Home and Community Based Services Waiver and on ND Medical Assistance. An official referral will need to come through the Developmental Disability Program Manager. Referrals will be considered when there’s a vacant apartment or it is known that an apartment will become vacant in the future.

Anne Carlsen Vocational Services

Employment

Taylor Made Living works together with our Small Group Employment and Individual Employment Support services to assist participants in maintaining paid employment in an integrated setting or self-employment.

Day Habilitation services occur in community settings creating opportunities for individuals to be inclusive community members. We provide training in self-advocacy, safety, social and pre-vocational skills. We strive to provide the individual with quality services which enable them to maximize their individual potential and fulfill their personal dreams.

Assistive Technology

Assistive Technology can break down barriers for individuals to increase inclusion and independence throughout their lifetime. The Assistive Technology team works in collaboration with the school team, parents, and therapists.
