A day of weird science
This year’s theme of Weird Science was made a reality today.
The young scientists all worked on their science books by collecting more data, being curious, and using all the adaptive technologies.
Dr. Wyllie brought the cool back to science through many awesome experiments. We had test tubes testing, pipettes piping, and campers curious. They learned more about states of matter, mixing solutions, and how science can be applied to everyday life.
Another project the young scientists started today was crystalization. They each made a symbol or letter from a pipe cleaner, which was added to a mixture of Borax, that will form crystals on their creation. We can’t wait to see the results tomorrow morning.
Tonight was also the annual hayride and bingo night. The campers got to enjoy a beautiful evening on country roads, and later anxiously awaited for their bingo cards to be called.
As we end the day, we can’t help but think about tomorrow.
