What are Sibshops?
Sibshops are created and focused on the siblings that have a brother or sister with special needs and/or developmental delays it will offer time for them to talk with other peers their age and connect with them to offer social emotional support.
The activities and/or games that are planned are focused on open communication and sharing of how having a sibling with a disability effects them whether it be at home, school or the community.
By attending Sibshops our goal is that your child will connect with a new community of peers their age and be able to share, discuss and communicate their experiences and feelings.
For the actual day your family would drop off your child from the 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided and the 3.5 hours will be jam packed full of games, activities and discussions!
