Social-emotional development is the relationships one creates with others including their ability to understand and express emotions appropriately. This includes the ability to be aware, express & manage their own feelings and how to respond to other's feelings.

Sensory Processing

Sensory processing is the process that organizes sensation from one's own body and the environment, thus making it possible to use the body effectively within the environment. Specifically, it deals with how the brain processes multiple sensory modality inputs, such as proprioceptoin, vision, auditory system, tactile, olfactory, vestibular system, interoception, and taste into usable functional outputs.

Through evaluations and assessment, therapists can identify the underlying component and skills. Interventions will be based on skill development or adaptations. A variety of grips, specialized papers, and techniques are used to reach their potential.
