The Hands on Learning Fair is aimed at reinforcing the value of family involvement in early education. It focuses on the role that parents play in their child’s early education. This event is part of the nationwide observance of the week of the Young Child and as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Organizers of the free family event call it the “largest festival of early learning in the region”. Early Childhood educators will offer activities that engage children in art, books, literacy, science, math, bubbles, building, music, puppets and dramatic play.
